ARE DREAMS CONSCIOUS EXPERIENCES? A CRITICISM OF CARTESIAN DREAM SKEPTICISM

چکیده
Descartes’ın rüya şüpheciliği, uyku ve uyanıklık halinin nasıl ayırt edileceği üzerine gelişmiştir. Descartes, ‘Şu an rüyada olmadığımı nereden bilebilirim?’ sorusu ile rüyayı, epistemik şüphesinin merkezine oturtmaktadır. Descartes sonrası Kartezyen şüpheciliğini de belirleyen bu problem, şüpheden ontolojik şüpheye evrilmiş konusu hem epistemolojinin ontolojinin haline gelmiştir. Bu aşamada odaklanılan husus, “Rüyalarımızın bilinçli deneyimler midir?” sorusudur.
